As we advance in life it becomes more and more difficult, but in fighting the difficulties the inmost strength of the heart is developed. Vincent Van Gogh

Checking in

Just thought I would check in and let everyone know I am ok. I have been swamped with developing a website for a local company. But I almost have it done so I will begin posting again soon. Thanks for checking up on me.

Here is a photo to tide you over. :)

Christian County had serveral coal mines that many men worked in through out the 20th century. This is a memorial stone in honor of those folks who worked in the mines. It is located on the courthouse grounds on the square in Taylorville.

Quantum Physics

I stumbled upon a video of an explanation of matter and whether it is waves or particles. What is strange is I was just talking about this with a friend a few months back. Then I saw this video which explained if very well. I thought I would share it with you.

Let me know what you think...

A joke worthy of a Laffy Taffy label!

Do you know why chicken coops only have 2 doors?

Because if they had 4 doors they would be chicken sedans…

Photo in my pocket

Photo in my pocket

I keep a photo in my pocket,
of a life innocent and new.
She keeps a photo in a locket,
of a life beautiful and true.

I keep a memory in my heart
of the little girl I love.
Even though miles apart
she is all I think of.

I keep an image in my mind
of a time when things are new
when no one will be blind
and no one will be blue.

I keep thinking of that time
when peace and love abound.
A world with no crime,
Pain and suffering will not be found.

That is the place
where my girl will be.
A sweet smile and long embrace
is one thing I hope to see.

Until that time is here,
I will keep the photo close.
along with the occasional tear
and a single pink rose.

One year closer to seeing you again…
